The words below resonated with me on two fronts. Not only did it make me smile as I thought back to the intricacies of desk mapping according to the talkers and non-talkers back in grade school but it also had me smiling when I think of how many kids I know (including my own ) who should have this written on their backpack or t-shirt.
I also got to thinking, however, about how many of us were these kids (or are now these adults) which then starting me thinking about how often we’ve all taught or facilitated classes/workshops/lectures with these same kids, teens, and adults.
We all know that they can be a pain in a class, lecture or workshop but how often do we actually take a moment to consider that they might actually have something worth hearing and how dull it would all be without them.
